The world's largest diamond: The Cullinan I (African Star)

In 1905, the world's largest diamond rough , The Cullinan, was found in the Premier mine in South Africa, weighing 3,106 carats. Later, the original star of the African star was cut into many parts, the largest of which was Cullinan I.

The Cullinan I is a pear-shaped cut diamond weighing approximately 530.20 carats and is also known as the African star.
